Studying at Hormozgan University
Hormozgan University was established in 1991 with permission to offer six undergraduate programs: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics Teaching, Physics Teaching, and Persian Literature Teaching. The university began its educational activities in 1992.Currently, the university serves about 6,021 male and female students across various levels of study, including 43 undergraduate programs, 75 master’s programs, and 35 doctoral programs. The student body is made up of approximately 76% undergraduates, 17% master’s students, and 7% doctoral candidates. At present, there are 231 faculty members engaged in teaching and research at Hormozgan University. The faculty includes 11 full professors, 79 associate professors, 123 assistant professors, and 19 instructors.
