Studying at Shahid Rajaee University
Shahid Rajaee University was established in 1359 as the Higher Technical Education Center of the Islamic Revolution. In 1376, it was upgraded to university status and renamed Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University. Currently, the university has 9 faculties, one research institute, and a center for continuing and distance education.

Research Institutes
Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University has a main research institute called the “Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Sciences Research Institute,” which was established in 2014. This institute works to improve research related to artificial intelligence and cognitive sciences. It includes laboratories such as “Cognition, Language, and Technology” and “Neural Networks and Cognitive Sciences.” The institute uses advanced equipment like eye trackers, high-tech cameras, and virtual reality. It studies the basic understanding of how people learn languages, designs language learning models, and standardizes tools for measuring the learning process.
