Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) is one of the top ten universities in Iran and is also known as the “Chehelston of Science and Technology.” It began its educational activities in 1977 by admitting about 800 students in several fields of engineering, technology, and agriculture. Nowadays, with nearly 50 years of experience in education, the university has:

• Over 500 faculty members
• About 1,200 administrative and service staff
• Around 11,000 students at the bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD levels

Isfahan University of Technology holds a high position in both national and international university rankings. In the CWUR 2021–2022 ranking, the university was ranked 694th in the world and 5th among Iranian universities. Additionally, in the QS 2025 ranking, IUT achieved the 197th position globally, maintaining its place as the 5th top university in Iran.

Tuition fee

PhD Application:

• The minimum acceptable GPA is 14. out of 20 (2.8 out of 4.0).
• $ 1000 USDPer Semester

MSc Application:

• The minimum acceptable GPA for the BSc degree is 13 (2.8 out of 4.0). In addition, the average of at least 6 main courses must be more than 14.
• The duration of a master’s degree includes two academic years equal to 4 semesters.
• $ 750 USDPer Semester

BSc Application:

• The minimum acceptable average for the diploma is 13. In addition, the average of at least 4 courses according to the announcement of the faculty should be more than 13.
• $ 600 USDPer Semester
