Introduction
Shiraz University of Technology, the first industrial university in southern Iran, is recognized as a major center for engineering education in the region. With a strong focus on graduate studies and close ties to industry, the university has been dedicated to training skilled professionals for over 40 years. It began its activities in 1347 in the Iranian calendar as the Faculty of Electronic Industry. Thanks to its well-equipped educational and research facilities, along with a team of experienced academic and industrial faculty members, the institution was promoted to Shiraz University of Technology in 1383.

Shiraz University of Technology holds a strong position in international university rankings:
- In the 2024 Times Higher Education (THE) Asia Rankings, it was ranked 115th in Asia and 5th among universities in Iran.
- In the Young University Rankings, which evaluates universities under 50 years old, the university ranked 85th globally, making it the top young university in Iran.
